In past versions, the DUACS gridded L4 products  were delivered with a 7-day temporal sampling and usually named “weekly products”. Since 2014, the DUACS products are delivered with a daily sampling and usually named “daily products”. The effective temporal resolution remain however nearly the same between these two kinds of products. Indeed, the weekly products were not created by aggregating the daily products together (they are not produced taking mean of seven daily images, for example). They are just a sparse selection of the daily products. In that way, every seventh daily grid exactly matches a weekly grid, pixel for pixel. The user can create himself an equivalent of the previous weekly products by subsampling the daily products.
