Objectif
The DUACS “Two-Sat” merged production serves multiple services, including:
- Copernicus Marine Service
- C3S (Copernicus Climate Change Service)
- WMO (World Meteorological Organization)
Sea-level rise, acceleration, and error estimation are rigorously based on peer-reviewed research.
Key Milestones
- 2006: First estimation of global trend uncertainties (Ablain et al., 2009).
- 2019: TOPEX-A drift correction defined, and trend acceleration estimated (Ablain et al., 2019).
- 2021-2022: Refined estimation of trend acceleration and regional trend uncertainties (Prandi et al., 2021; Guérou et al., 2022).
- 2022: Sea level trend estimation in polar regions enabled by specific polar production (Veillard et al., 2024).
