Objective

The primary goal of the DUACS “All-Sat” merged production is to enhance the quality of altimetry data processing through continuous advancements in:

• Altimetry standards and geophysical corrections (e.g.Kocha et al, 2024).
• Improved L3/L4 processing (e.g. Ballarotta et al, 2024).

Key Milestones

• 2004: Initiation of specific production for the Mediterranean Sea.
• 2006: Initiation of production for the Black Sea.
• 2014 and 2021: Significant revision of OI parameters for enhanced mesoscale representation at global and regional scales.
• 2024: Adoption of a new multiscale mapping methodology
